Gold Leaf Mirror 2004 - This mirror was originally silver with a black antique finish. Using artificial gold leaf, gold paint, gold wax and some antique brown glaze I transformed it to a warm, gold finish that goes better with the homeowner's decor. Any fixture can be changed like this but keep in mind that it is not always cheaper than buying new. Fixtures are often very intricate and take a lot of work to re-finish.
