Chair 1: This is a 1930's chair
that was originally a dark walnut stain and
had a dark leather seat. I decided to give
it a whole new look with a lighter,
distressed finish. I then recovered the
seat with this tone on tone gold fleur des
lis fabric. I also rubbed some antique gold
wax over the chair to highlight the
beautiful carved areas.
